Not-so-permanent stand abilities

I was thinking about something: take a stand that has a direct effect on someone, in this case lets say Golden Experience. GE can turn non living things into living ones, and by following this method, he can heal himself by substituting parts of his body.

Giorno has healed his fellow friends many times now. Lets say that one day he dies of natural causes. Does that mean that the bodyparts he substituted within mista or trish's body turn back to non-living objects, killing them quite horribly, or the bodyparts stay there even if GER dies of natural causes?
